"Pair Of Large Paris Porcelain Vases By Jacob Petit"
Rare pair of Paris porcelain vases composed of a cubic base on a flared base and surmounted by a Medicis style vase with a generous belly.Superb decor on an orange and white background adorned with navy-colored foliage presenting different monochrome landscapes in blood and blue tones.
Work in Paris porcelain from the first half of the 19th century, attributable to Jacob Petit (traces of stamp not decipherable). Jacob Petit declined this model of vase in several styles and on these dimensions, the inventiveness and the originality of the decorations mark here the paw of the artist.
