Superb framed gouache, signed by the painter Edouard Leverd dating from 1910. The scene is bathed in sweetness, we see two mothers and a baby outside a Provencal house, enjoying the rays of the sun. Edouard Leverd was born in Paris, the painter is well known for his scenes of Parisian representations, he also painted many provincial landscapes. He participated in various universal exhibitions, notably in Saint Louis in Missouri in 1904 (bronze medal), in Liège in 1905 (bronze medal and in Milan in 1906 (silver medal), he was also rewarded (medal silver) at the Fine Arts exhibition in Avignon.
