Signed and dated 1923 lower center.

Original frame in wood and gilded stucco, with missing gilding.
Absence of protective glass.

Antoine Georges Roux is the son of Alexandre Georges Roux (1853-1929), painter.
He competed from 1919 to 1922 for the Prix de Rome.
He died at his home in Versailles at the age of 34.
