Painter of Tunisian origin born in 1948 in Tunis. Watercolourist, pastellist, engraver Orientalist, known for his typical animated scenes, his urban landscapes, as well as his colorful characters.

He also excels in the art of collage.

In Tunis, he was a pupil of Ridha Bettaïeb, then worked in the Parisian public workshops, including that of the Grande Chaumière.
He participated in group exhibitions, including: in 1995 at the Arab League in Paris "Arab Painting of yesterday and today", where he was the representative of Tunisia, in 1996 in Carthage "Peinture Tunisian in France". He also presents his works in personal exhibitions including: 1995 Paris at the "Arab League" and in cultural centers.

The artist uses a traditional technique, however in certain animated scenes, the touch is freed and becomes more incisive, tending towards expressionism.
