Porcelain sculpture representing the famous Assisi Bather by Maurice Etienne Falconet. This is a large porcelain proof bearing the mark of the Villenauxe factory. It bears a false attribution to James Pradier but the original sculpture that served as a model was indeed sculpted by Falconet. Very good condition, a slight chipping on the inside of the base which is not visible at all once the object is in place. Period early 20th century. Delivery by carrier, 30 euros in France, 80 euros in the EU and 150 euros rest of the world.
