A carved inscription "Michel Luhr" and "Anno 1794"
The shape recalls the Italian cassone.
On the sides large wrought iron handles.
Period lock working with a wrought iron key (impossible to remove the key).
Inside, a compartment which seems to have been redone at the beginning of the 20th century.
Very good condition, some stains on the wood.
