Writing Travel Box In Leather Sheath Louis XIV Period
Slightly domed box of rectangular shape, writing box sheathed in black leather, skin of shagreen, on a wooden core. Openwork brass frame, handle and closure hooks. The lock is still there but we don't have the key. Interior of the box covered with blue silk with wear and losses, interior compartments are missing. This box also has wear and cracks on the outside. Object from the Louis XIV period at the beginning of the 18th century. Dimensions: Length: 30.9 cm – Depth: 22.2 cm – Height: 8 cm
