Bust Of Molière In Bronze, Barbedienne Founder
Bust of Molière in bronze with original brown patina, it bears the Barbedienne Fondeur mark on the back as well as the Collas mechanical reduction stamp. According to Jean Antoine HOUDON (1741-1828) who made this bust for the French comedy in the 18th century, this bust was produced in different sizes by the BARBEDIENNE house from 1845.
