An interesting rat cup. The body of the container, which will resemble a bag belonging to Daikoku, is decorated with groups of hand-painted figures. Full-faced rats in various colors sit on top of the container. Satsuma, Japan, Meiji era (1868-1912). Length 16.5 cm, width 11.5 cm, height 8.3 cm.
