Art Deco Vase By Catteau
An important Art Deco vase made in Belgium by Boch La Louvière, and designed by ceramist Charles Catteau.
Ovoid in shape with a narrow neck, it features a highly graphic design of undulating vertical lines enclosing a string of elongated turquoise-blue motifs on an alternating white or yellow background.
The rendering is very harmonious and pleasing to the eye.
Under the base are the inscriptions:
