The Pays Pourlet is also characterized by its furniture. There is a unique furniture of its kind where the inlay work holds an important place. The oak or beech wood blackened with moisture alternates with the clarity of the yew or boxwood to realize decorations such as: ears of wheat, roses of the winds, stars. Nails are used to emphasize the ends of the inlays. The headdress and costumes from the Pourleth country are particularly original. The furniture is beautiful.

The Pourlet country occupies the north-west of the department of Morbihan and a small portion of the Côtes d'Armor, and extends over the following municipalities: Guémené-sur-Scorff, Plouray, Mellionnec, Lescouët-Gouarec (southern part), Silfiac, Saint-Tugdual, Priziac, Le Croisty, Saint-Caradec-Trégomel, Lignol, Berné, Persquen, Meslan, Locmalo, Inguiniel, Bubry, Langoëlan, Séglien, Ploërdut.
