Magnificent landscape of the Côte d'Azur which invites us to contemplation and travel. A very beautiful rendering of the Mediterranean vegetation with its umbrella pines, water reflections, the effect of morning mist, thanks to a rich palette of colors in pearly, blue, green, red and brown tones, subtlety of nuances. This oil on panel, never disassembled, is presented in its original Montparnasse frame and its title cartouche of the work "morning in Esterel". Usual signature lower left "P. Bono". Dimensions: 38 cm x 51 cm and 58 cm x 71 cm with its frame Very good condition. Our artist who notably exhibited at the Salon of French Artists of which he was a member from 1920 to 1939 is listed at Bénézit.
