We are once again offering you an interesting piece in line with the rich Sarreguemine production of majolica.
Fine earthenware covered with colored glazes, majolica will begin in the factory on the banks of the Saar around 1875.
Its shape number, as well as the stamps, make it possible to locate this vase towards the beginning of production.
Called "Vase Louis XV / Vase Louis XVI Orné" in the catalogs of the manufacture, this imposing piece on a pedestal has goat-headed handles, a plant decoration of ivy, flowers and blackberries, fruit little used in ceramic decorations .
Note an invisible restoration on one horn.
