Superb large slip planter, signed Leon Castel Mont Chevalier Cannes, circa 1880-1900. Sold as is. Léon Castel is best known for his enameled or iridescent earthenware. Here, the decor is closer to nature, very colorful, in the style of certain creations by Delphin Massier. This beautiful plant pot was unfortunately broken and previously glued back together. It also has some minor chips in places. Sold as is. Diameter: 40 cm. Height: 29.5 cm. Please arrange a carrier, or pick up on site in Saint-Marcellin, halfway between Grenoble and Valence.
