Monogrammist Kdl, Croesus Showing His Wealth To Solon
Magnificent oil on canvas from the first half of the 17th century, painted by an Antwerp artist with the monogram "KDL". Very elaborate composition, rich in characters and precious objects, which is reminiscent of the style of Frans Francken. Two scenes are represented on the same work: in the foreground, Croesus shows his riches to Solon, and in the second, Croesus on his stake. Very good state of conservation.
