Pair of domestic service call cords, France, 18th century for the silk laced with gilt silver threads, and patinated gilt bronze handles from the Empire period. Very decorative effect, the pieces of silk were sewn to each other and lined with a braid with the handles certainly in the 19th century. Very good condition. Total height: 2m05
