"Kazuhide Takahama (attr) For Leucos, Ceiling Light / Wall Lamp, Ca 1980s"
"Cloud" ceiling lamp or wall lamp, attributed to Kazuhide Takahama for Leucos, ca 1980s (resemblance to the Tiki model). Murano white opaline blown glass globe, white bakelite base, E27 porcelain socket for E27 Led bulb, Leucos label still present (see photo). Lamp never used, still in its original Leucos box which will be supplied with the lamp to the buyer. Perfect condition, electricity ok. Kazuhide Takahama: He was born in 1930 in Japan, graduated from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1953. He left his native country to settle in Italy, better known as a furniture designer, he created for B&B Italia, Gavina and Knoll. In particular, he designed the Japanese pavilion for the Milan Triennale, the Kazuki lamp for Sirrah, etc. He died in Italy in 2010. Leucos: Leucos is a renowned producer of decorative glass lighting fixtures, located near Venice in Italy.
