Pair of copper candlesticks from the Empire period.
Model identical to the one we have from Trianon and the Tuileries. The Mobilier National keeps several identical pairs, one of which comes from Napoleon's bedroom in the Pavillon du Butard, described as follows "two copper candlesticks with antique green stems gilded top and bottom 21 cm high", this same pair will be returned to the storage unit in 1830 described as follows "two candlesticks foot and stem in antique green, 3 Egyptian heads and gilded candlesticks".
