18th century French school, pastel portrait of Marie Thérèse Charlotte de France, eldest child of King of France Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, workshop or a close master painter of Joseph-Siffred Duplessis.

The young 2 years old Princess is pictured in 1780, dressed with laces and wearing a cap with a panache on top ; she is holding a bouquet of fleurs-de-lys (Bourbons' attribute).

Our pastel is set into its original oval gold leaf gild wood frame with a ribbon on top.

In very good condition. Beautiful, delicate historical souvenir.
