Rare copper CACHE-POT with baluster-shaped body, knot and animated pedestal, octagonal section.
Height: 12 inches.
FRANCE, 18th century

This is most likely a “Prowess” of a coppersmith or an object of mastery; all the sides of all the parts are cut to the template and assembled by internal welding, attesting to great technical skill.
