An unusual object, letter, key, etc ... here a flute, arose in the middle of an invented landscape, similar to the Surrealists.
From 1955 to 1965, he was exposed to the Salon d'Automne, May comparisons and Surrealist exhibition (Galerie Charpentier).
He was bound to Kisling, Derain, Dunoyer de Segonzac, Zadkine, Max Jacob and especially Jacques Prévert who wrote two poems inspired by his paintings.
He also wrote numerous illustrations.
He will share his time between France and the Netherlands.
In 1970 a personal exhibition was dedicated to him in Paris.
