Black Powder punches. Barrels juxtaposed and smooth in damask, slight bites at the exit of the thunders. The damask is beautiful. The name and address of the manufacturer on the upper band "J. BLANCH & SON, 29 GRACECHURCH STREET. LONDON”. John BLANCH & Son (William) lived at this address between 1848 and 1914. The pin mechanism works perfectly, the hammers hold on both notches and the springs are firm. No play. Key opening under the trigger guard. Beautiful English style walnut mount with unsigned crest. The handmade checkering is in very good condition. The wood is solid, without breaks or cracks. Back plates signed by the manufacturer. Metal surfaces stuffed in “English Scroll”.
