Framed Ivory Christ
We present this Christ sculpted in ivory from the 19th century, himself presented on an ivory cross. It is very finely carved. Also note the work of the nails not ordinary at all. This sculpture is presented in an oval restoration period frame. Nice workmanship, the sculpture is in perfect condition. We can safely date this sculpture to the first half of the 19th century between 1800 and 1850. (E)
