Kadjar Art, Carved Copper Box Of Seated Princes, Flowers, Hare, Cat, And Birds, 19th Century

Beautiful Kadjar box, with Dominica-shaped lid, engraved on the whole body, in very good condition from the 19th century with a beautiful patina.
The perimeter, chiselled with three roundels representing seated princes separated by landscape scenes of flowers and animals, hare: the believer, birds: fidelity, and cat: wisdom.
The dome is engraved with a scene of three figures, which seems to be a scene of marriage or justice, a prince seated in the center, all surrounded by friezes.
The Kadjar or Kadjar dynasty (Qājār, Qadjar, Qajar, Persian: قاجار ) is a Turkmen dynasty which reigned over Iran from 1786 to 1925.
The finesse of the carvings show the dexterity of the Persian engravers.
