Pocket acoustic device dating between 1883 and 1900 with a receiver covered with an art nouveau style openwork grille. The earpiece is telescopic. The horn bears the manufacturer's mark and signature 'CH. F. Valéry - Ingénieur Constructeur / marque déposée / Paris' as well as the #9 at the foot of the horn.
