Buffet Sideboard By Jean Claude Mahey In Elm And Brass Burl
Large sideboard by Jean Claude Mahey in elm burl and brass, in its long and low version, with a particularly slender line. The interior is lacquered red. The burr elm parts are in exceptional condition, the matte varnish is original but looks almost new. The brass parts have very few traces of use. The nets are not a simple veneer but 4mm thick solid brass embedded in the elm burl. The back of the sideboard is also in elm burl, the piece of furniture can therefore be visible from all sides and serve for example as a separation in a room.
