Dauphiné landscape with stone bridge. Charcoal on white paper. Monogram of Théodore Ravanat (1812-1883) and stamp of Parisian collector and antique dealer Claudius de Jonge lower right. The latter affixed the imprint of a stamp on the reverse certifying the attribution as well as an inventory number. The artist belongs to the Dauphinois landscape school. He is the initiator of the meetings of Proveyzieux; artistic and cultural center like Barbizon. He was Curator of the Museum and Director of the drawing school in Grenoble. Exhibition: Painters in Proveysieux, Museum of the former bishopric, Grenoble from October 17, 2003 to May 10, 2004. Grenoble and its artists in the 19th century, Grenoble Museum from May 28 to October 25, 2020.
