Silver Compact, Europe, Mid-20th Century
Circular silver compact with its sieve, powder puff and mirror, with trompe l'oeil guilloché decoration on two sides. The lid is decorated with bouquets of foliage embellished with vermeil nail heads. The side part is decorated with gadroons and equipped with two tabs to facilitate opening. Probably Europe work from the middle of the 20th century 925/1000 silver, sterling Silversmith hallmark with AV initials Diameter: 9.6 cm Thickness: 0.8 cm Gross weight: 175 g Condition: excellent
