Beautiful work, gouache on paper, in a stucco frame. Circa 1920. Signed Jean-Louis Paguenaud, trained with William Bouguereau, received official naval painter in 1922 (some of his works are kept at the Musée de la Marine). Very nice treatment of Mediterranean landscape with cliffs (Sardinia? North Africa?). The frame has some gaps (see photos) but the work is in very good condition.
