A beautifully enameled lava stone plaque dating from the 1950s-60s, featuring decorative, chiseled motifs reminiscent of the work of artists Jean Lurçat and Paul Corriger from the same period. This particular plaque displays an abstract, vertical geometric design. The stylized forms are rendered in mustard yellow, blue-gray, brown, orange-red, green, and white. The motifs are incised in a bas-relief style. An undeciphered signature is present on the reverse. In very good overall condition. Dimensions: 30 cm wide x 50 cm high.
