"Large Painting "marine" Signed Emile Noirot, Dated 1893"
Large "marine" oil on canvas located in Brusc in the Var, signed Emile Noirot (1853-1924) dated 1893. This painter from Roanne has an immense work nourished by his travels in France and Italy. He was very attached to his region of origin which he represented a lot; he was influenced by the Barbizon school, he was an outdoor painter. He exhibited for the Universal Exhibition in Paris and in 1893 for the Universal Exhibition in Chicago. He was painter to the Navy Department in 1899. Dimensions: 1 m long and 0.60 m high.
