A pair of ormolu bronze and cloisonné enamel candelabra with three lights. They are based on the feet of lion's paws, and have a rich decoration in cloisonné enamel, an ornamentation of volutes, chains, masks, lotus buttons and bearded men's heads. They are signed hollow on the base: F. BARBEDIENNE. Ferdinand Barbedienne (1810- 1892) founder, manufacturer and publisher known for producing works of great artistic and technical qualities.
