"18th Century Venetian Carved And Gilt Wood Mirror"
18th Century Venetian Carved and Gilt Wood Mirror

The large and finely carved and gilt wood mirror was made in Italy, Venetian, in the first half of the 18th century.
It has a central rectangular frame and molded. From the frame start soft swirls with vegetal elements, of rocaille taste, which find the maximum expression in the important cimasa characterized by an asymmetrical carving. The rich and exuberant shape acquires great lightness thanks to the fretwork and the gracefulness of the design of the cimasa, slender towards the top.
The large size of this elegant mirror gives it added value. Particularly decorative, it can be placed in any room of your home where it will give a lot of brightness and refinement.
