"Pair Of Lamps Composed Of Chinese Ceramic Vase And Gilt Bronze Frame, France 19th Century"
Pair of lamps composed of Chinese ceramic vase and gilt bronze frame, France 19th century

This particular pair of lamps was made with the use of ceramic vases, made in China in the nineteenth century and mounted, also in the nineteenth century, on a base of finely chiselled and gilded bronze. The base takes up the stylistic dictates of the French rocaille, with rich volutes and foliated elements that create the four feet of support. These are joined together by garlands of flowers. Two reserves in chiselled and gilded bronze decorate the lower and upper circumference of the vases. The vases of biansata shape, are in glazed ceramic on the tones of the pomace.Laterally they are decorated by two silver holds.
This pair of lamps is of particular decorative effect, suitable for any environment such as a study, a living room or to be placed on the bedside tables of a bedroom.
Lack of a ring near one of the side sockets.
