"Bas Languedoc Cabinet"
Wardrobe that can be qualified: Sumene, Languedoc, or Protestant.
Rectangular, in walnut wood, it opens on the front with two doors with six panels carved with geometric floral patterns. The uprights and the frame are straight, sculpted at the top of three mascarons, below the falling fruit and leaves. The upper crosspiece is enriched with a frieze carved with an eagle with wings spread in the center, scrolls, flowers, and acanthus leaves on both sides. The sides are formed of six uneven panels. An overflowing molding forms the high cornice. The low cornice is largely molded. Period: second half of the 17th century Restoration of use and maintenance. Note: the feet have been changed. Reinforcement inside the frame.
