Classical representation of a Holy Family with the Virgin holding the child Jesus, Saint John kneeling with the cross supported by an old woman, perhaps his mother Saint Elizabeth or Saint Anne, the mother of Mary, Joseph standing, protector close the stage.
Two angels fly above the Virgin and the background opens on an architectural whim that gives depth to the scene. A beautiful composition, that the painters of northern Italy love in the sixteenth and seventeenth century.

The paint is under an oxidized varnish, a crack in the panel on the right side and some gaps are to be reported.
