Small Worker In Light Ceylon Wood, Louis XV Style - Mid-19th Century

Worker in light Ceylon wood veneer whose top is composed of four symmetrical friezes. On the front is a drawer in vertical veneer, equipped with an original lock with its key and inlaid rosewood entry. The interior, in lemonwood, offers fifteen compartments, four of which are closed by mahogany lids, with lemonwood inlays and bone buttons. The front housing flips over, revealing a needle cushion. The set rests on four massive feet, with a rounded front, ending in a pretty arch. This small functional piece of furniture will seduce with its warm and distinguished hue.
