A barometer - thermometer in gilded wood and polychrome. The barometer and the thermometer are both in working order. Decorated with rocaille ornaments and classic leaf friezes and a finial in the shape of an acanthus leaf. The barometer and thermometer dials are hand painted. Transition Louis XV - Louis XVI, France, around 1770. Length 96 cm, width 28 cm. Condition as seen in photos, good, minor rubbing and repair to tip. Form and cost of delivery to be agreed.
