Superb pair of Chinese fragmentary heads of women and men in raw clay from the XIXth century. They are composed of a mixture of earth and fibers covered with clay, finely modeled, the faces are very realistic, the mouth between open for the man, the woman has a traditional headdress. Remains of polychromy on all of the 2 sculptures, presented on a blackened wooden base. Old objects of very decorative quality.
