Louis XVI Period Planter Attributed To Canabas
This planter is made of mahogany and solid mahogany. Its mahogany-veneered belt is framed with quarter-round brass and solid mahogany sticks and a fluted belt. This planter rests on four tapered and fluted legs ending in bronze clogs. The sheet metal tank in good condition has probably been redone. Work attributed to Joseph Canabas, received master in April 1766. Dim: H: 73 cm, W: 61 cm, D: 41 cm
