Mantelpiece set in gilded bronze and porcelain plates with its two Napoleon III period candlesticks.
Beautiful and important model, the clock rests on a shaped base, the gilding is beautiful (some oxidation), the mechanism needs to be revised, there is a small chip on a candlestick and a bobèche is missing. There are marks on the inside of each plate (signatures?)
