"Pedestal Table In Mahogany, Gilded Bronze, Lacquer In The Style Of China And Cedar Burl XIX Th"
Very beautiful round pedestal table with two trays in mahogany, gilded bronze, lacquer in the style of China and cedar burl in the Louis XVI style, model by Adam Weisweiler (1744-1820).It has a top surrounded by a gilded bronze molding placed on a mahogany molding surrounded by bronze.
It rests on three double bronze columns simulating bamboo stalks; a triangular tablet in thuya burl supports in the center a bronze column supporting a lacquer tray in the style of china surrounded by an openwork bronze gallery.
It rests on three arched feet shod with foliated and faceted clogs.
Very nice work by a great cabinetmaker from the second half of the 19th century, unsigned.
