The slightly domed lid is adorned on the three sides with a row of nails. On the top, beautiful star-shaped decoration surrounding the wrought iron handle. Hasp lock without its key.
Very nice patina of the leather The interior is covered with paper glued later.
A few nails are missing, nothing very important considering the period of the box.
