Stirrup A Pulley Ethnic Bété Ivory Coast
I love to escape, I love to dream, I love to travel and the contemplation of ethnic, authentic objects allow me to do so. The Bétés are a people living in the center-west of Côte d'Ivoire, particularly in the regions of Gagnoa, Ouaragahio, Soubré, Buyo, Issia, Saïoua, Daloa and Guibéroua, in what is called the "loop of the cocoa”. Their artist-craftsmen perpetuate an ancestral know-how.... we cannot claim the same here.... So: I present to you a pulley stirrup which was born and lived there and which traveled to our place , to arrive soon at home... beautiful destiny for a loom element....
