Baluster-shaped seal or stamp in gemstones and gold mountings. The handle and mounting are inlaid with gemstones: lapis lazuli, purpurine, and several shades of jasper. These stones are set in intricately sculpted rinceau and flower motifs. The red jasper stamp is engraved with a monogram. Restauration period. Charles X, circa 1820.
