Very nice stone carved and painted wall statue depicting God The Father (?) holding the terrestrial globe in his hand.
This representation of the Creator, with a long beard and crowned, refers stylistically to German sculpture from 16th century.
Very good condition, especially the polychromy / colors painting,
the stone raw material is very dense and heavy and colors are well contrasted. The polychromy seems me to be original with light cracks and slight retouching, but perhaps deserves cleaning.
