Rare set of nine 18th century earthenware plates; a sober and charming model with a cut-out and turbulent edge, the wing of which is encircled by a coral-coloured painted bead flanked by two manganese nets.
The bowl centered with a charming and delicate motif of a small flower or fleurette.
It is most certainly a factory in the South West of France; I am thinking in particular of Bordeaux.
Note that eight plates are in excellent condition; the ninth has a chip and a visible crack (it does not sound clear).
