Coming from a family of Polish nobility, he discovered art during his childhood during many trips to Europe.
He studied at the Beaux-Arts in Munich and in Paris and exhibited his first paintings, close to the Fauve movement, in one of the largest Parisian galleries, the Bernheim gallery.
He settled and lived in the avant-garde Montmartre where he frequented Derain, Picasso, Soutine ...
His paintings are very recognizable by his knife technique and his very colorful palette He exhibited at the Salon d'Automne of 1912 , 1913 and 1919.
He produced portraits of contemporaries such as Léonard Foujita, Antoine Bourdelle....
Bankers David David-Weill, regent of the Banque de France, granted him financial support throughout his life to Wladimir de Terlikowski .
