Secretary Restoration Period

Beautiful secretary in mahogany and flamed mahogany veneer. The upper body opens with an ogee drawer and a mirrored flap. The flap reveals an interior in cedar burl and amaranth fillets: six drawers, two secrets and two balusters. Green leather upper (new) with gold trim. The lower part opens with a cove drawer and two doors. Flap and doors with molded frame, white marble top. Oak frame, original locks and key. Waxed varnish. Around 1820.
