When Guy Laroche (1921-1989) launched his Haute Couture House in 1957, he had one goal in mind: to liberate women's bodies from the New Look and offer them a "refined and discreet" elegance. He made a name for himself with his subversive cuts with surprising details. The shops become meeting places for actresses such as Jane Fonda, Faye Dunaway and Mireille Darc.
